I am honored to have been selected for the Bloggers For Positive Global Change meme. I would like to thank DownShifting for nominating me. I have often stopped in at their blog and enjoyed my visits.
While I certainly appreciate this and am honored, I hardly understand why. I am just here on the edge of the world trying to make the little bit of difference I can. I honestly wish I could do more, and could afford to do it bigger and better. If we each would do the little we can, great things could happen.
As far as blogs go(to suit the meme) I don’t have tons of time to follow many–especially those which are a positive force for global change. However here are a couple of those I feel fit in. I will try to add more if I have time.
- Wiggly Wigglers–a great blog, podcast and company dedicated to reconciling agriculture, nature and the environment we must live in.
- NO NAIS –while this is mainly about stopping Animal ID in the USA, it is really about more than just that, and the education in global issues and how they effect us makes it worth including here.
Here are the meme rules:
Meme Rules
It’s easy to participate in this meme. At minimum, you can proudly display the BPGC badge (it’s available in two varieties: Transparent GIF and JPEG with white background) on your blog and bask in the glow of our collective good will. If you are sharing the kudos, however, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging.
The participation rules are simple:
1. When you get tagged, write a post with links to up to 5 blogs that you think are trying to change the world in a positive way.
2. In your post, make sure you link back to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme.
3. Leave a comment or message for the bloggers you’re tagging, so they know they’re now part of the meme.
4. Optional: Proudly display the “Bloggers For Positive Global Change” award badge with a link to the post that you write up.
