PigsThe Kitchen Garden Network is proud to offer a Workshop on where our food comes from.

Head out to “Podchef” island for a workshop by Chef Neal, on rearing and butchering pigs. Learn about naturally raised, pastured pork, butchering a hog, and making bacon and sausages.

The cost is $75 for the day, including ferry fare, a lunch of porky delights and all materials. Accommodation available for those needing to spend a night on the island. Limit 8 participants. Reservations taken on a first-come basis. Date yet to be determined, but some time in the first weeks of October. Email now to reserve your place!

This workshop will take place on October 20th from 10am to 3pm with allowances for ferries.
